My advice
If you’re already a YouTube partner, you could better stick with YouTube partnership for monetizing your videos.
Grant Permission: Authentication
FullScreen needs following permissions on your Google account.
Fullscreen, Inc. is requesting permission to:
Manage your YouTube account
View and manage your videos and playlists
View and manage your YouTube activity
View basic information about your account
View your name, public profile URL, and photo
View your gender and birthdate
View your country, language, and timezone
View your email address
View the email address associated with your account
View YouTube Analytics reports for your YouTube content
View YouTube Analytics reports for your YouTube channels and videos
Know who you are on Google
Associate you with your public Google profile
Manage your YouTube account
View and manage your videos and playlists
View and manage your YouTube activity
Perform these operations when I’m not using the application
Myth
Some people think that it’s impossible to come out of Fullscreen partnership once they’re in!
But there is a way.
Withdrawing procedure:
Log into your Google account.
Goto your account settings @ https://www.google.com/settings/account
Goto the Dashboard @ https://www.google.com/settings/dashboard
Goto “Authorize Account Access” -> Login again
Now revoke access to FullScreen from your Google account.
We all know how our attention span is getting shorter and shorter. We are no longer patient to read long text, we are no longer able to wait till the long introduction is finished to get the actual content.
If we can’t wait, we just Google and go to some other site which provides the meat directly. Keeping the fluff at bay!
With all these early evolution and internet still being in its infancy, Video content has gained a lot of credibility and viewership.
There are many people who are making their living by shooting videos. And no, these people are not Hollywood or Bollywood video makers! They are just like you and me. They are normal people like us. So I thought, if I’m normal too then why not try this!!
It’s comparatively easy to get YouTube Partnership these days. Earlier there were lot of restrictions like country, daily impressions etc. But now, as far I know original useful content is all it needs for one to get into YouTube’s Partnership program.
Below are some guidelines: (youtube partnership requirements) 1. Open a YouTube a/c. Make sure you do not upload any copyright protected videos. It shouldn’t even contain copyright protected music or art work display. Everything you upload must be owned by you.
2. Upload some unique video content.
3. Make sure they are safe even for children to watch.
4. Leave it for some days or even months, so that it generates some views. This is to make sure, what you have uploaded is valuable and people are looking for it. Meanwhile keep producing and uploading useful video content to your YouTube account.
6. While applying, make sure to fill appropriate data.
7. Keep creating and uploading quality videos.
I applied for YouTube partnership program on 07 Feb 2011 and got approved on 04 May 2011.

We have seen Adsense ads with YouTube videos integrated, which play on the same page when clicked. But these are somewhat different in their looks, and do not play videos on the same page, instead takes the visitor to a YouTube URL which is formated like a nice landing page.
Here are some screen shots. We found these ads on our blog too and had taken screen shots a month back.
And recently we also heard of a ad format containing Twitter tweets extracted from rss feed of the advertisers twitter a/c. Here are the images:
The ad is interactive in that you can click the right and left arrows to see previous tweets from that account. You can also click on the Twitter avatar and name, plus the “Follow me on Twitter” link to be taken to that person’s Twitter URL.
The ad itself is connected to the advertiser´s Twitter account and rotates the latest tweets from this account. The only clickable parts of the ad are the logo, the Twitter-username, the text ”Follow me on Twitter” and the URL to the Twitter-profile. The goal with the ad format is to recruit more followers for the advertiser´s Twitter-profile.
Update: We found these ads ourselves on Google’s social networking site – Orkut. I have tried my best to capture the video.
Google has not officially said anything specifically about these ad formats, but it is said to have been testing some new ad formats to help advertisers get better exposure.
Want to wait till WordPress 3.1 is released? Think again or read below: This time WordPress team will be concentrating on things around WordPress.org, like showcase, Codex, forums, profiles, update and compatibility APIs, theme directory, plugin directory, mailing lists, core plugins, wordcamp.org etc. So WordPress 3.1 may not be coming any time soon.
We have upgraded to WordPress 3.0 and I already love the lighter interface.
Update:
There is a Maintenance mode, which gets activated while you are doing any upgrades. See screenshot below.
And if the automatic update fails, it shows a message at the top of your dashboard..
I am living at a place near Bengaluru(Bangalore), where Apple inc is not yet dominantly popular.
Not to blame them – Microsoft is more popular here due to its user friendliness or may be because most government offices in India are using Microsoft Operating System and Office suites.
[ I always feel, how good it would be to a developing country like India(economy wise) to switch to open source software like Unix, OpenOffice etc.]
First thing first: So what is iPad ? The iPad is a tablet computer developed by Apple Inc. It features multi-touch interaction with print, video, photo, and audio multimedia, internet browsing, and runs most iPhone OS apps. The device has an LED-backlit 9.7-inch (25 cm) color LCD display and uses a virtual keyboard for text input. Prices for models in the United States range from $499 to $829 depending on the amount of storage and inclusion of 3G access.
So ipad is everything, from iPod, iBook and we can use iTunes and the Apps that we are already using on iPod and iPhones.
As iPad is still a new thing to all of us, I thought it would be fun to ask my friends:
What do you think iPad is? [ like: iPhone, iPod, iMac etc.]
I asked those who did not have any clue about what iPad is, to make sure the answers are based on their pure imagination.
My friends replied me with some fantastic imaginary things:
Rajesh: Digital mouse pad.
Manjunath patil: Its a Computation Device.
Navya k: something like inkpad (iPad). or may be like iMac.
Samartha: Digital Keyboard.
Sawti D M: Who is this ? 😉
Sridhar P: A combination of both phone and computer.
Raghu: Songs hearing machine.
Prashanth: Its a Notebook. Digital Notebook.
Jagdish: Electronic Device.
Nagraj: iPhone.
Nagbhushan: Digital Sound.
Sagar: Digital Nappy pad.
Kiran K R: Integrated Personal Audio Device.
Janardhan: I don’t want to be bothered thinking of ipod or ipad, but I need mouse pad urgently.
Gagan: Pad sized fully touch screen lap top or touch screen palm top.
In one or the other way, most of them were right with their guess and imagination about the name iPad. I really appreciate them for taking time to SMS me back with their answer.
Fun apart – Many people doesn’t seem to be happy with the new iPad, as there is no Multitasking capabilities, no camera etc. I think Apple Inc., will surly listen to its potential customers and soon patch up and will comeup with new iPad( we may call it iPad 2.0 ! ) as per the expectations of its fanboys.
But the question will remain – who will purchase this sleek, sexy looking(design wise) iPad now? Are you planning to purchase one? Make sure you know what you are getting and what not with your iPad, before placing an order.
If you observe Google.com today, you can find a falling Apple! indicating the invention of Gravitation. The Doodle marks 366th birthday of Sir Isaac Newton.
Does this Apple Doodle(shown in above video) has anything to do with this “Browser War?”
