Before Deleting Your Google Plus Account

If you had any pages associated with your current Google Plus account, make sure to add a manager to it. After 7 days of adding a VIP manager, you can transfer it to him before deleting your account. In most cases, the other account would be your migrated Google Plus account.

No Google+ pages that you own will be deleted. If you don’t want to own a page any more, you can delete it. Deleting a page is permanent. You can also transfer ownership of a page, using the page’s settings.

You might have thought Google plus is following you everywhere now or might have transferred your account, and want to delete your old Google plus account, without deleting other Google services associated with that email address.

Take care of these before deleting Google plus account
1. YouTube
Check if it’s associated with your YouTube account. If so first disconnect it orelse all your uploaded videos and comments will be deleted too.

2. Google Plus Pages
If you had any pages associated with your current Google Plus account, make sure to add a manager to it. After 7 days of adding a VIP manager, you can transfer it to him before deleting your account. In most cases, the other account would be your migrated Google Plus account.

You can continue to manage any pages you currently manage. Your name and email address will be visible to the owner and the other managers of any page you manage. You can also remove yourself as a manager of a page, using the page’s settings. If you do, you’ll no longer be able to act as that page or take any kind of administrative actions. However, all of your past posts, comments, and other actions will remain intact.

3. Know that, all the +1’s you did around the web will be lost.

4. Authorship
If you used your old account to verify your authorship, make sure to redo it with the new account too. Authorship won’t be transferred with your Google Plus account transfer.

Some of the things which will go with your Google Plus account

Your circles will be deleted, but people in your circles will remain in your Contacts.
Your +1’s will be deleted.
Your posts and comments will be deleted and won’t available to the people or communities you shared them with.
Any profile information that you did not make public will be deleted.
Many Google+ social and sharing features will be disabled for you on other Google sites.
Content from other services, such as videos, will no longer be visible to people in those circles.
No photos will be deleted: you can still access them in Picasa. To delete them, go to Picasa Web Albums.
Your connections to third-party services will not be affected. To manage them go to Connected accounts settings.
Your chat buddies in Google Talk and Gmail will not be deleted.
Your Google+ Local reviews will not be deleted: They will be marked as private and accessible in the “My Places” section of Google Maps. You will be able to delete them there.
No communities you created will be deleted, unless you’re the only member.
Google Buzz and all Buzz posts will be deleted.
Your public Google profile will be removed.
Deleting your public profile will not affect the status of your Google Account.

Deleting Proceedure
Log into your Google account, go to settings Scroll down to find link to: You can keep the Google Account and delete the Google+ feature. Scroll down and select Delete Profile and Google+ features.

Must follow, strict policy:
The article must be original. It must not be published anywhere else….online or offline(news paper, magazine etc). You will be held responsible for any dispute that may rise later.

What type of content is a No NO?
1. Hate stuffs – Abusing some company or product.
2. Product reviews.
3. Article with irrelevant links!
A link with in the article must support the article that is published on the blog and should not be another post that you are referring to readers to go and read.

Some personal guidelines:
Guest blogging is an opportunity to show your authority over a topic to a wider audience or new audience. So you need to make it as professional as possible, and not to include as many links as possible to drive the traffic. Its about spreading your brand recognition, showing your ability and willingness to be one among the community. Before submitting a guest article, make sure you do proper research about the topic, so that you can satisfy the readers and their comments.
Don’t view guest blogging as purely an opportunity for you to get new readers and promote yourself. Try to add value to the blog where you are writing the guest post. Take the opportunity to build the authority. People reading the article will surly visit you and be your loyal readers if they like the content and find that you are genuine, then they are more likely to stay with you, following your blog. Create good impression, leave with a positive impact.

Create your New Yahoo! profile

Yahoo! is popular for its email and IM services, so having a Yahoo! profile seems more interesting.

Some of the good features in Yahoo! profile are:
1. We can now invite our friends by importing our contacts from Yahoomail and messenger. This is a cool feature.

2. We can set the status message. — Since twitter has been so popular, this status message feature has also become a must feature in many social networking sites.

3. We can write about me section here too 🙂

4. There is a nice “Guest Book” in everybodies profile – Giving it some more touch, for social networking.

5. Drag and drop the “Guest Book”, “Connections, “Updates”, “About me” boxes in your profile and place it according to your wish.

6. You can share the Updates of “Yahoo! 360”, “Yahoo! Avatars”, “Yahoo! Buzz”, “Yahoo! Shine”, ”
Personal Info” with your contacts in Yahoo profile. You get the option to determine what to share and what not to.

7. People can now find you(search for your profile) and add you as friend. And you can opt to get an email notification when there is some activity in your profile. And you can opt it out too! .You can search for new/old friends by just searching for their Name or email address.

8. You can set the permission for, who can see your updates and who should not see your latest updates.

9. And there is an interesting feature called “Connection Suggestion”, which automatically suggests some of the contacts from our email. These are people you communicate with a lot in Yahoo! Mail, or who you added to Yahoo! Contacts or your Messenger List.

10. For security concern Yahoo! has also given the option to make our profile public or private.
