While there might be a possibility of more ads being clicked,there could also be a possibility that ads in that category are clicked too many times that there are no more ads in the inventory.The user knows where that ad is leading to and may not click it again after 2-3 clicks.With the bidding process in use,the top paying ad always stays at the top and becomes a routine ad.This can have very bad affect on publisher earnings. I think it's advisable to stay with contextual advertising because a user may read a wide variety of stuff on the Web.A " buy flowers " ad on a Apple MAC post can be irritating. Last thing I want is gardening ads showing up on my website. While the reader may also be interested in gardening I doubt while reading my website he is in that frame of mind.
