This has been well known for a couple years now. Even in Wikipedia there is an article stating that the major search engines officially discontinued use of the keywords meta tag in 2007. Here’s the link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M....._attribute

Google occupies majority of Search market.No importance of meta keywords will be a major drawback for many bloggers. Nevertheless meta keywords are very much useful for search engines other than Google.

We have known this for some time but we still advise using keywords in meta tags because we all know that other search engines aren’t as powerful as Google. Better to be safe than sorry.

I try to use all of them equally although i was supposing that meta keywords were not used by some search engine. Surely, still most important tag is the description is it shows in search engine listings.
