I think hitting a thumbs up for your own article once in a while is ok, if its already getting a lot of thumbs up - but submitting your own article to SU is bad. Because, it makes sense if others think your content is good and submit it to SU rather than you yourself submitting it. Some time people may find it annoying and they may bury your submission - hurting your SU profile reputation.</description>
